Meet Young Fuu | Music Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Young Fuu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Young, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I seen my cousin King Golden rapping for the first time and I’ve wanted to be an artist since. He was the first person I ever seen sing and write their own song and that inspired me to do the same.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I make music. I believe what sets me apart is that I don’t mind getting out of my comfort zones and challenging myself to evolve with the craft. I definitely excited to get on stage again October 30th and traveling for shows out of town. I got to where I am now thanks to King Golden he been guiding me through a lot and trying to make sure I headed in the right direction I can’t thank him enough. I wasn’t always easy though because doing music and trying to make a living off of it can be discouraging but if you have the love for it and the right people in your corner then it will be fine. A l I’ve learned is that as long as my opinion of me is positive then I won’t care about others opinions of me. I try to make music for everyone to some degree the more people dig through what I have put out the more they will find music that they can enjoy. I try to be diverse and at times try to go in a direction I wouldn’t normally go to make sure I can make something other people can relate too .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I definitely suggest 8 Bit bar or Takorea good food and drinks also if you like video game retro or current gen these places would be great amounts of fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely want to give a shoutout to my brother Al-Subor who has nothing but positive vibes and words for me every time we link up. Definitely want to let him know he is doing an amazing job accomplishing his goals and doing what he set out to do.
