What makes you happy?

Happiness is everything. Where there is happiness, everything else is possible and so we asked the community to tell us what makes them happy.
I find happiness in loving Jesus and growing in grace and knowledge of Him, knowing what He’s done for me. I also find happiness in loving and serving my husband and family, enjoying the beauty of the Fall, painting, photography, and of course playing with my adorable red Goldendoodle. I started this business simply with a desire to own a business, but I had no real plan for moving forward. I knew I wanted to serve others, but I didn’t know how or what I was going to do. Teaching art is something that makes me happy. As a teacher, I facilitate learning through active exploration, observation, and critique. I actively encourage experimentation in the classroom through concepts and materials with each assignment, aiming to improve conceptual, technical, and professional skills. Art advances the development of learning about ourselves and those around us. Developing skills in creative problem-solving is necessary to navigate our constantly changing environment. For me, it’s all about making my clients happy. Being in the moment of art creation with them, and seeing how much it means to them, is so fulfilling to me. It’s a special and unique experience that is different for everyone, even when they come back to me again, we’ve both changed and so does the art.
