We had the good fortune of connecting with Ada Denise and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ada, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
I would say the most important thing that my career has taught me is how to have thick skin ! When you are a model and seen for your image it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes in a good way & bad , but Just know that for every no you get there will be a few yeses right around the corner & to keep your vision and the faith ! 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

All good questions lol where do I start … lol well if I had to say what sets me apart from the rest I would have to say it would be my story ! My history & my roots ! I’m the 1st one in my blood line to have a vision this big outside of my father and follow through with it and for us we call that breaking generational curses ! There is so much blood , sweat and tears that have gone into the last 17 years of building my brand , my resume , my production company ect & that … that’s what sets me apart from the rest and makes me an inspiration to others !

How did I get to where I am today professionally? Hmm I would say faith ! Never giving up and always trying to see every angle of things even in my darkest moments ! Reminding myself constantly that anything worth having is worth working and fighting for when it comes to my livelihood & being a great mother for my daughter ! Oh and also networking ! I network my butt off lol I can’t tell you a time when I’m not networking ! I meet amazing people all the time and when the energy is right an in alignment we create amazing projects and things together !

Was it easy ? Oh noooo not even a little bit ! The 1st 2 years into my modeling career I about gave up ! So many no’s and feeling like I was wasting my time ! Here we are 17 years later ! I’m a vet teaching other models over at “Themusiclab” here in my home town , I have my own production company now creating content with my best friend Kevin manning !
I’ve won awards for my creative direction & my vision and that inself  is one of the most rewarding things about not giving up ! You can only go up if you have been down !

One of the biggest lessons I have learned along the way is to be careful telling your ideas to people ! Oftentimes people see you doing something or hear or see you trying to do something and get that envious mindset of “if you can do it I can do it to or before you “ that weird hater energy’! Make sure when you’re disclosing info with people you know their heart to be true ! Not everyone is gonna be on your team the way you would like or be for them! Some are just around to steal your ideas and run with them ! They never get too far though & karma doesn’t miss a soul !

Hmm .. what do I want the world to know about myself and my brand ? I would say that myself and my brand are authentic ! I don’t candy coat anything with my listener , or my viewers ! My brand is a self expression that has gotten me fat because people can relate and or love the Vision or the style ! I fully intend on expanding over the next few months ! Or course I can’t say how lol because you know how people like to steal those ideas lol but just please stay tuned and follow all of my socials @missadadenise on any social panel #Modelmoves

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Anyone close to me knows I’m big on nature , meditation and wine lol

So after a nice hiking trip at maybe hawking hills we would camp and have wine and talk about our goals and business ideas

If we were having a real girls night out we would stop by the heights of course Also sometimes I love going to my friends who are like family’s place “puff&scotch” my fav is the “ Tatiana groovy blue” with a shot of “ black widow on the rocks” and a redbull on the side 

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
