My favorite quote or saying that I stand by and share to everyone is: Keep a back up plan on *everything! It’s that fact and belief that has launched The Queen Silvy Show to the successful level that we are today. I don’t accept and stay stuck and sad when told: NO! I don’t wait for opportunity to knock, I create my opportunities and keep a back up plan of options moving forward. No matter the goal(s), what you’re going through or need to take care of in life, if you have a back up plan(s) on the situation…you can only continue to move forward. “Expect the unexpected” I don’t know who said if first, but I first heard that quote from the old tv show “Kung Fu” and it stuck with me ever since. I think it’s a good saying to keep in your mind as you go through life. Most of us have lives where things can go wrong and there isn’t a ton we can do to fight it off. I was raised to stand on my own two feet and to face my fears head on. This quote simplifies the feelings I had when I was transitioning from a standard employee to creating a business in a matter of months. Was I terrified? Heck YES! I had zero business background but I had faith in my ability to learn along the way and the skill set and clientele that made it possible to be brave.
