Meet Vitality | Rapper, Model & Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vitality and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vitality, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I Am Born & Raised From Cleveland Ohio, My Background and Upbringing provided me a heavy moral compass, Self worth, and Resilience. Coming From Cleveland, The City Itself Has A Edge & Rawness To It. The People Either Love You Or They Don’t. No In Between. Still Something About The Air Just Makes You Feel At Home. Cleveland Being A Urban Area, Opposition Becomes Natural Of Course. So Most People Are Skeptical Until They Are Certain They Can Trust You, Still As Many Cities That I Have Visited I’ve Never Met People Like The People From Cleveland Ohio. My First Home.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I Am A Artist. I Have Been Doing Music Since I Was Young Of Course. I Just Dropped My Second Mixtape “ Problem Child” I Love What I Do. Simply Bc I See The Reaction People Get When They See Me Perform. The Hope In Their Eyes is Something You Simply Can’t Pay For. & To Be Able To Change Peoples Lives With Just Your Opinion Or Voice. To Me Is A Gift. I’ve Always Found It Liberating To Inspire Anybody I Was Around In Any Way I Can. Pushing People To Their Fullest Potential Rather Then Knocking Them Down Is A Personal Power I Have Learned To Enjoy. I’ve Ran Into Numerous Problems & Some Set Backs Throughout The Years. Just Trying To Get My Voice Out There. So I Understand How Frustrating It Can Be To Try Your Best & Not Always Be Met With What You Deserve. But If People Can Gain Just A Piece Of Hope. To Continue Being Or Becoming The Person They Always Envisioned. Then That Song Becomes Worth It. That Podcast Becomes Worth It. That Book Becomes Worth It.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So When It Comes To My City. We Are Well Known For Food & Entertainment. Let’s Say It’s A Weekend. We Would Normally Wake Up & Head To Brunch. My Favorite Place To Brunch Would Be “The Filter Experience” Of Course. A Couple Of Mimosas & Omelettes & Then We’re Off To Mall. Mentor Or Beachwood. Just To Find Something To Wear For Later That Night. After Shopping & Finding Two Outfits, We Probably Would Go See A Game Considering The Season. Preferably A Basketball Game. We Have A Cavs Team Indians Baseball Team & A Browns Football Team. So Sports Is Definitely A Big Deal In My City. After The Game. We’d Probably Head Back To The Hotel To Get Dressed For The Nightclubs We Have Here On West 6th. Some Of The Hottest Clubs & Bars In The City. Where Celebrity Guest Show Up. After The Club Get Some Food At A Diner & Head To Bed. If It’s A Weekend Of Course. If It’s A Weekday. Maybe Get A Pedicure, Dinner Love Our Soul Food Here. Places Like “Fredricks, Angie’s, & Sylks” We Have Wine Tasting Classes. Great Live Music & Comedy Shows.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I Would Love To Thank The People That Has Supported My Journey Thus Far. I Couldn’t Do Half Of What I Do Without My Team. My Amazing Manager. Would Love To Give A Shout Out To Spotify For Launching My Podcast. & Of Course You Guys For Featuring Me In Your Article.
