We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaliber Nine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaliber, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
If I’m being honest, I don’t think I’m going to blow up and be famous but you never know, look at the Island boys. All I want from making music is to make it, create a catalog of songs, features and memories I can look back on throughout the years.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Keep on pushing! No matter what your goal is, don’t stop creating even if you can’t achieve it. You may inspire someone else to follow up on their own dreams, Imagine the person who inspired you had gave up. A lot of folks are going to talk that slick sh*t to you and you won’t get no where if you stop
As for me I’m working on my first album “Mind Abyss” plan on dropping it every where by January 13th 2025 and 2 joint mixtapes with Lil Money Or Mula and a group project with Phaze 4 all set for the next 3 years and hoping to gain a little fandom through streaming gives people a chance to see me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We got a little back water place off the map for catfishing, nothings better than a couple drinks, some smoke sitting around a fire till 6am slaying fish and exchanging stories. Other than that I love my home city of Kalamazoo, T.N.T Eastwood got the clothing on lock and there’s everything to get into in the city

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The list could go on and on Young King “Facio Pena” & Lil Money or Mula, the only reason I keep making music with the occasional push from Phaze 4 (Young Fuu, BLE$$ & Knightmare) big shout out to them
