Meet Russ Hall | Recording Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Russ Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Russ, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency. Staying true to my sound and organically building a fan base. I always remind myself of how far I’ve come with my music and I pay close attention to the details, while allowing myself to be a student as well. Learn, improve and keep marching on.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
My art is a true reflection of my personality, and how I respond to the world also, I believe that is what truly separates me, from other artist.

Consistency, has been the driving force, and has helped get me to where I’m at today. Always alignment, aligning myself with things that help further the vision, to aid in getting me closer to my goals. Every step is progression, no matter if the step is huge or small. Take it all in stride.

Nothing worth attaining comes easy. You have to continuously work for and evolve with the times, in particularly when you’re an artist. One has to constantly try new things, reinvent yourself, it’s the only way you’ll know what sticks and what won’t.

One lesson I’ve learned during this journey, is that no one is coming to save you, although others can help, but they don’t truly know the goals set in place, or the way YOU want things to pan out. With that being said, I’m always appreciative of the support, and with confidence, I can say during the past years, and currently I have the truest of fans, who appreciate my craft
no one can take that away from me.

Lastly, what I want the world to know about the Russ Hall brand, is that it’s authentic, I’m still a student and learning
is on a continuum, and i’ll always put my best foot forward, with everything! Music, family, work… EVERYTHING! Annnd, make sure to be on the lookout for my new album titled, “Sincerely, Yours. Vol. 2” coming very soon!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I’m home my favorite place to visit is the Re:Bar. Such a dope organic vibe and aesthetic. This place was created with the local artist in mind. It’s like “Cheers”, where everybody knows your name! Lol

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say my group of friends is part of the reason I am who I am today. Iron truly sharpens iron with this group. I’m around some the greatest fathers, businessmen and overall people that this world has to offer.. Accountability is big with us, not wanting to let your brother down is one way to keep yourself planted on your pivot and headed in the right direction.
