Meet Jacquelyn Potesta | Nurse Anesthetist, Injector, & CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacquelyn Potesta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacquelyn, how does your business help the community?
Our mission at Juno is to empower moms to prioritize their own self-care and get their confidence back. Moms are always putting everyone’s needs above our own, and our bodies take such a toll through pregnancy and early motherhood! When we pour into ourselves, even if it’s as small as taking 3 minutes to wash our face in the morning, we’re able to take care of others better. I truly believe that when our patients look in the mirror and feel confident in their own skin, that translates into being a happier, energized, and more patient mom to our littles….and the impact that will have on our future generations is immeasurable.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Juno we are very proud of what sets us apart. Most medspas move people in and out very quickly, but we value spending more time with our patients and building real relationships. We want to know them not just as patients, but as people! We also have a proven 4 step process that we follow to ensure substantial but natural results. This includes treating all five layers of the face holistically so patients look like the best version of themselves!
As far as how we got here today, it’s certainly been a roller coaster! We are proud of the organic growth we have had, as most of our patients come to us through word of mouth referrals. This is the best compliment from our patients! We have had great support from the Loveland community as well.
The biggest challenge for me personally has been going from the provider role to the CEO role. It’s a hard balance at times to juggle both (not to mention still working anesthesia and being a mom to two young ones). I am still learning how to juggle these roles and balance my time, as well as how to scale my business from just me, to a team of providers like we have now!
I think explaining the origin of our name can really help people understand our brand. Juno was a beautiful Roman goddess, known for being both a loving, nurturing mother but also a fierce warrior and protector of the Roman women. She had these soft, feminine traits but also, she was not to be messed with! She was tenacious and tough. I feel that she represents the modern woman so well. Women these days do it all – balancing motherhood, careers, etc. We have to remember to take care of ourselves so we can show up as our best!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely head to downtown Loveland! We’d start at Mile 42 for a coffee, then spend a few hours in the boutiques like Lemons + Limes. After shopping we’d take a walk along the bike trail and grab a drink and some lunch somewhere. There are plenty of options!
After lunch we would head downtown to the banks and catch a Red’s game, and then grab dinner at Sottos – the best food in town! Ricotta donuts for dessert too of course.
The rest of the week we’d make sure to get to Washington Park, OTR, a Bengals game, and finish off a day with a nightcap at my favorite bar, Low Spark.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to shoutout Kelly Herman with Beautiphi training academy for the skills, supportive community, and never-ending mentorship, Ellen Lauletta with Awaken Aesthetics for giving me the push to get started and resources to succeed along the way, and my bestie Paaras Parker for her encouragement, advice, and always being ready to celebrate my successes with me.
