Meet Shomari Bryant | Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shomari Bryant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shomari, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy? What makes me happy is being able to express my Self in different surroundings and able to be myself. Why? I say in this day in age us young adults are either bullied or shut out due to being different or not the norm agenda and I feel that being able to express my craft thru modeling is a excellent way to show my light that burns with in me .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe we all are apart of a bigger story but my chapter has been ripped out and sealed in the ocean. I say that because my story isn’t like any other typical persons, granite we all have ups and downs but to be the Person I am becoming I had to sail thru some large waves. What sets me apart from others is ima true creative I live by my craft. Meaning I’ve been doing this (modeling,singing, drawing,) since birth so this isn’t just a hobby I picked up. Modeling has been a dream of mine since a child from making. Clothes to drawing them out with my parent, and to actually walking in the living as a child when I should be sleep . But how I got to where I am today professionally is by honestly tears. I’m not about to sugar code anything I went thru trials but dreams aren’t just roses we can pluck they have thorns, and only the toughest of skins can achieve to hold on and I had to wear gloves to grab mine. Meaning I’ve had a ruff lead up from being adopted to moving states to being homeless but if you believe in your self you will achieve what you’ve been wanting. Hard work does pay off. Some lessons I wanna share that I’ve learned on the way thru this journey is that, everyone you meet isn’t meant for your story sometimes they’ll set you back and you’ll end up back at square one.

What I am most proud about? I would say I am most proud about keeping myself going . I have been through so much pain in the past , so me having the opportunity to live my life the way I want and build my dream is a beautiful experience. Because it tells me there is a better for me out there. All with a little bit of motivation.

I just want the world to know is that if Shomari said it he’s gonna do it bigger and better every time .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly ima simple boy my Bestie is the same as me hood ole McDonalds and a movie would be just fine . Maybe it’s the cancer in me or it’s because I don’t ever go out but, that’s pretty much it we would most likely sit in the couch and have tea time ..
