We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabella Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isabella, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Ever since I was a young girl, my own curiosity led me to become intrigued by the ability to create. I was often fascinated by different forms of art; whether that be music, paintings, films, fashion, or photographs. Curiosity became a mindful practice for me which allowed me to live in the present moment. I learned over time that the enduring characteristics, values, and interests I possessed were unique and different from those of my peers. This made me feel like I didn’t exactly “fit in” anywhere, and I struggled socially for a period of time. I felt as though society was teaching us all to live the same type of lifestyle, which made me lose myself for years. Pursuing my passions felt impossible, and I honestly viewed myself as a disappointment because I didn’t have the desire to find a “normal job” after graduating college with a bachelor degree of business. As I entered my adulthood, I decided to change the trajectory of my life by healing my inner-child and reminding myself of all those wonderful passions I held close to my heart. I thought to myself, “What’s the point of living if I’m not going to fulfill my soul with a lifestyle that I love, and inspire others to do the same?”. Ever since this realization, I’ve strived to reach my maximum potential through creating art, putting emphasis on both physical and mental health awareness, inspiring others to be happy and healthy, and making a positive impact on this world in any/ every way I can.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve never been one to keep all of my eggs in one basket, so I’ve decided to pursue a few different lines in my career. First, personal fitness training became a huge passion of mine after helping and inspiring individuals to set attainable objectives to reach their goals. As someone who has battled anxiety from a very young age, I am a huge mental health advocate; and I personally believe that fitness/ proper nutrition do wonders for the brain. I am a certified personal trainer, and I aspire to start my own podcast one day surrounding both physical and mental health.

Aside from fitness, I am a certified drone pilot through the FAA, with a focus of videography for travel, business advertisements, inspections, and real estate mapping. Furthermore, my boyfriend and I are in the process of starting our own drone business, Cloud 9 Mapping & Photography, pertaining to this.

Lastly, I am a singer/ songwriter and freelance fashion model. I’ve been singing alongside my sisters, Corrine and Cassidy, for as long as I can remember. We’ve done many vocal performances and covers, which I am also continuing to pursue. Fashion modeling became a passion of mine when I was signed with an agency in Pennsylvania at the age of 5. I believe highlighting the craftsmanship of a piece that a designer creates is such a beautiful experience. To me, it’s just another way to express art to the world. Creativity is the birthplace of innovation!

I am most proud of having the strong desire to make the world a better place. Keeping a positive mindset and surrounding myself with people who are driven with good intentions has helped me overcome many challenges.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’ve grown to enjoy many places within Northeast Ohio. If a friend was visiting, the first place I’d recommend is Cedar Point if they’re into amusement parks. I love rollercoasters and thrilling rides because they really force you to live in the moment! Aside from the rides, there are other fun activities to do there, and it’s beautiful; especially in the evening with the sunset over Lake Erie. More toward the city, I would visit the Metro Parks, Edgewater, and any nice place in the Flats on the water with quality food and drinks. The east side of the Flats attracts a younger crowd, but I honestly love the west side too. For a more natural and relaxed type of vibe, I’d recommend taking a drive to Hocking Hills and renting a cabin. It’s a great place to hike, explore the outdoors, get cozy, go hot-tubbing, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I would like to thank my wonderful boyfriend and long time best friend, Austin Bramhall, for loving me and always encouraging me to seek out my passions. He has supported me and changed my outlook on life for the better, and I am forever grateful to have him by my side. In addition, I want to express my gratitude to my mother, father, and two incredible sisters. My family has provided me with so much love and inspiration all my life. My father has always been my biggest mentor. I truly don’t know where I would be without such an amazing support system. I also thank the friends who have rooted for my success throughout the years and supported me as well. I am extremely blessed.
