We had the good fortune of connecting with Dorian (bret) Preston and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dorian (Bret), we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started KingShip PR mgt, because I was helping a new business owner and I realized she needed help in many areas. I had to do alot of research, in the process I learned many SEO skills, creative Marketing, content creation and relationship building skills. These skills I saw under one roof were considered Customer relations and Press Release/ Publis relations management and Online reputation building. I realized I was passionate about the subjects , so I began a crew.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m most excited to talk about the fun it is making connections with people, and seeing their dreams and visions come true in reality. Being a person to truly help see to it that business owners , and creative find their way through to the finish line of their goals being completed and also, the joy it brings to everyone makes it all worth it.

Struggles, is that sometimes we have to work through changes but taking note and being responsible, organized and productive daily and proactive helps with the growing changes of technology and the generations.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say bring the family , goto a cabin, and get some beers , go fishing talk about life and vent. Play some basketball and go to a karaoke mic night and let loose responsibly.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Actually my sister, Sarah J Preston. She gave me a job just through helping her, that was already in my heart to do. But in turn , became my calling. Thanks so much sis, you are appreciated.
