Meet Chay Parker | Hemp Store Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chay Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chay, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
My partner and I came up with the idea for this business as we watched the landscape of Hemp marketing and retail over the past number of years within the United States. With the 2018 Farm Bill, we took that opportunity to bring a whole world of amazing products ranging from Federally-Compliant Flower to Federally-Compliant Edibles and Oil Concentrates either in a disposable/cartridge or in a glass puck. We did this when we noticed that there was a large demand for these products, and the few stores that were selling them, were charging exorbitant prices and did not carry the most promising products. Knowing the landscape and the want for these products, we came in and started providing top-tier quality products for a much more fair price.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business sells top-end quality hemp products of all kinds. Part of what sets us apart from other shops is not just the quality and range of products we sell, but our absolute top-notch quality customer service. If you’re an expert, and know what you want, we can get you in and out with a smile on your face in no time. If you’re a novice, and don’t even know what is what, we will walk you through everything, step by step, and still get you out with a smile on your face! We got where we are by continuously staying up to date with what the demand is, and also caring about who we are selling to. It was not easy, what with the changing landscape and laws in the hemp industry, but we have continued on and pulled through, by always trying to be the best in the industry at everything we do, especially customer service. The main thing I would want the world to know about us is that if you come to us, you will always get top-notch products and service! Come see us for all of your hemp-related needs!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely Izakaya in Beavercreek, Ohio. It is an anime-themed bar that has amazing anime-inspired cocktails and mocktails, as well as some fantastic Korean food. I would also say Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati, it is an international market that has food from all around the world, with a bar in the store to have a drink while you walk around and shop. The last place would be Dave and Buster’s in Southern Ohio, it is a giant arcade and restaurant/bar with pool tables, giant tvs, and really good food, drinks, and games.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, I have to thank God for this opportunity and this business. I would not be where I am with this business if it were not for my business partner and cousin, Brandon. He is the one who helped build this business from the ground up, in every sense. The business wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for him. I also have to thank my wonderful fiancee, Sydney, and her family. They have been nothing but supportive from the moment this started, if it weren’t for their support, I don’t know if I would still be doing this.
