We had the good fortune of connecting with Coyytheboyy A and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CoyyTheBoyy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was that I wanted to be successful but also wanted to help people. Whether it’s through music or giving them something they can believe in that will make them motivated to keep striving for their own goals and achievements.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is creating a world through your ears to visualize stories that are 100% real but in an abstract way of music! It’s very exciting to me because I’ve loved music since I was a child! No matter what genre, music has a way to make us all connect! Music has helped me professionally and personally get through hard times and good times! The main challenges of being an artist or creative is to get people interested and to keep them interested! We live in a society now where you have to be quiet about most things that happen because people don’t think it’s real or they are not supportive. But if you keep going and keep your focus on your passion and why you started you will never fail! I’ve also learned to keep your head up and don’t look back. Continue to look forward, and continue to bless those who bless you! Every opportunity counts

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since my best friends live here in Ohio! We make sure that we try and have a little fun with life’s curveballs! When they come into town we tend to have a night out on the town maybe go to City & East for a nice drink or hookah session! We also would go to Scorchers, a local bar that we’ve been going to for years!! It’s always a good time there and great food! But the most fun part is when we go to Cedar Point to scream our brains out and get funnel cakes! Love being around our friends and family taking the time out to enjoy ourselves so we don’t feel so overwhelmed!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are some people that I would like to recognize and shoutout and that’s the CoyyPond and the VIBESTEPPAZ which are my people, support, and my team! They are the best! I might be local now but you will see me go higher to achieve what I have to accomplish whether it’s this year or the next! We will be in a better place! Shoutout to my peers Chvsinn, FloTheRapper, Nelle Jae, Biggs, Arri The Wxtch! Keep doing your thing and go far! May The almighty take us higher
