We had the good fortune of connecting with Andre Delgado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andre, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea started by being part of the community. We wanted to help grow the Latin dance community and bring something special. Something never seen before.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
CinciMovement is a dance studio that is focused in bringing awareness to the Latin culture through dance and movement. Our motto is simple. Learn, dance, repeat. What separates us from other dance companies is that we bring the whole package. Not only do we teach you how to dance, but we have plenty of events and parties where you can put what you learned in class to the test. For those looking to level up even more, we offer dance teams which focus on choreography and more advanced moves. Our dance teams get the opportunity to travel and perform in bigger stages throughout the country.

CinciMovement is a place where everyone is welcome. All cultures are welcome and we all share the same passion for dance and movement.

We are most excited for 2024. Our core team is working with such high passion to bring the best events in the tri-state.

One of the biggest lessons we learned was to keep pushing. No matter how difficult it seemed. Not everyone is a believer and not everyone is going to support you. That doesn’t mean they never will. It takes falling and failing to win. Little by little we have grown to where we are today. We have proved that if you have a dream and a goal, it is possible, it is doable. Just gotta keep pushing. Nobody said it’ll be easy, but it sure is worth it and rewarding.

CinciMovement empowers you to pursue your wildest dreams. No matter how big or how small. Everyone starts at the bottom. Motivation may not always be there but as long as you stay consistent, your inspiration will motivate you to keep pushing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As an ice cream enthusiast, first and foremost, we have to go to greater s. Cincinnati’s very own. We also love to eat. A whole week entails at least one place a day. Top 5 places to eat in no particular order. The Eagle, Maplewood, Amerasia, Jot India and last but not least. Skyline Chilli!

As far as hang out spots and drinks, we love outdoors and places that are just different. Some our favorites are Somerset, Alice, Comfort Station, second story and our favorite, Frankies sips and savories.

We definitely going to some breweries, specially Rhinegeist and Fifty West.

If shopping is on the list. Kenwood mall is a great attraction.

The Cincinnati museum is always a good place to go, and Mt Adams for a great view of the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
For starters, I’d like to give a shoutout to my other half, Kate Cauthen, co-Owner and Co-Director of CinciMovement, She inspired me to push and start what seemed the scariest thing of my life. Second, our students and the lovely community. Without them, none of this would be possible. And last but not least. Our Bachata instructor Tim Johnson and our lovely DJ, event coordinator and right hand, Emily Polander aka DJ Noe.
