Meet Ashley Arnold Morrow | Human Resources, Entrepeneur, Chapter President, and More

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Arnold Morrow and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work-life balance is a dynamic and evolving concept, influenced by shifting priorities and life stages. As individuals (such as myself) progress, their balance may tilt towards career advancement, personal relationships, or hobbies, requiring intentional adjustments. I view balance as a continuous process of self-reflection, boundary-setting, and time management (which I am horrible at). It’s a fluid equilibrium that demands regular assessment and calibration to harmonize professional (work, Livi Steel, Inc., running my small business, Ashley’s Peer Recovery Services LLC, volunteering, running three non-profits, Wild Ones Youngstown Area Chapter, The Spore Sisterhood, and The Spore Sorority) and personal (caring for my son, Ayden, my four dogs, Blue, Wall-E, Faith a.k.a. Potato, and Karma, my two guinea pigs, Bea, and Betty, my plants, and myself) aspects of life. I am constantly changing how I think about work and life, how I can balance the two; how I can adjust and calibrate the two. I think everyone has to.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is my unique sparkle and the way I weave my passions, values, and experiences into everything I do. I am most proud of my creativity, resilience, and determination. These qualities have helped me turn obstacles into opportunities, valleys into mountains, blank canvases into masterpieces. My professional journey (Livi Steel, Inc. and Ashley’s Peer Recovery Services, LLC) has been a winding path of growth, learning, and self-discovery. I have overcome challenges by embracing my inner strength, seeking wisdom from mentors (including my mother, my Aunt Dot, my Aunt Connie, my Aunt Patsy, my Aunt Pam, my Aunt Bonnie, and finally my Aunt Sandy), and trusting my intuition. Along the way, I’ve learned to:
– Embrace my authenticity and individuality
– Nurture meaningful connections, partnerships, relationships, and collaborations
– Prioritize self-care (especially with all my health problems) and personal growth
– Trust my voice and share my story with confidence
I want the world to know that my story is one of hope, inspiration, and empowerment. I’m dedicated to spreading love, kindness, and positivity, and to helping others unlock their own potential. My “brand” reflects my heart and soul – a celebration of femininity, creativity, and joy. I encourage everyone to “Google” Livi Steel, Inc., Ashley’s Peer Recovery Services LLC, Wild Ones Youngstown Area Chapter, The Spore Sorority, The Spore Sisterhood, and finally the 1st Annual Mushroom Maiden Festival. You will see it is all light, love, compassion, and positivity. I am currently finishing up my 1912 Craftsman Style Bungalow (believed to be an Aladdin Kit Home) so I can sell it and move to the country. Plus, I am putting the finishing touches on the 1st Annual Mushrooms and Monsters Event coming up in October, and I am brainstorming for the 1st Annual Mushrooms and Memories Event to be held in December. All while working my day job, my night job, and trying to sneak in some sleep before my Narcolepsy and Cataplexy get the better of me.
