We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Glass and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Black Women Cultivating Change has a mission to eliminate the stigma related to mental health and wellness in the black community. We have built relationships with the community and are providing safe spaces to discuss topics chosen by our target audience in hopes to break down barriers and stigma that is deeply rooted in our community.
We hope to empower, advocate, educate, and provide platforms for the cultivation of mental health and wellness.
We know that mental health affects all aspects of health and wellness, and want to make sure that our audience feels that they have the tools and resources needed to overcome barriers and challenges.

What should our readers know about your business?

We like to use nontraditional ways to promote mental health, wellness and healing. Our work is targeted by data collected from our participants.
We make sure to bring our authentic-selves to every event, and have lived experience to relate to our audiences.
We want the world to know that black mental health matters, and that we need to prioritize! There needs to be sustainable funding for programs, services, and support to create safe spaces for the black community.
I love everything about Cincinnati. I love the vibrancy of downtown. I love Black coffee Lounge, I would also suggest eating at one of the Amazing diverse restaurants we have in our city.
I would also like to thank the community that we serve as well as all my professional & professional village who have supported me on this journey

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Also, I would recommend going to an FC, Cincinnati game and a Bengals tailgate.
