Hi Brandon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key to my success has been my commitment to honesty and transparency with my viewers. I’m not driven by financial gain, nor did I enter the “Beard Industry” to serve as a marketing resource for companies to promote their products solely for a commission.

Instead, I conduct my reviews and share my experiences for the benefit of my audience. My goal is to provide them with reliable information that can help them make informed decisions when purchasing products so that they can avoid wasting their money on products that are not worth the cost.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I created Denver Beard Reviews as a hobby to just share my honest thoughts, opinions, and experiences with companies and products throughout the Beard and/or Men’s Cosmetic Industry while also keeping a focus on being budget conscious to the consumer.

I’ve had facial hair since I was 13, but only really started utilizing products to maintain and grow a health beard for about the last 10 years. Throughout this time, I’ve experimented with various companies, various products and have had some very pleasant but also very harsh experiences as well.

Over the years, I have watched many individuals share their experiences with products on YouTube. However, I have also noticed that a lot of these “Reviewers” were actually doing the reviews as part of a paid partnership with the company, which made me skeptical about the honesty of their reviews. It seemed like they were more interested in making money rather than sharing an accurate portrayal of their experience with the product. In fact, my own experiences with some of these products did not align with what was being presented in these paid reviews.

As a result of my skepticism towards paid reviews, I took it upon myself to create my own Beard Review channel on YouTube. Over time, I also expanded my presence to include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter pages for my channel. In just 15 months, I have experienced significant growth in terms of my following. What began as a few hundred followers has now turned into thousands of viewers across all of my platforms.

With my own Beard Review channel, I hope to continue providing reliable and honest reviews that help my audience make informed decisions. As the industry continues to grow, I believe it’s important to maintain transparency and integrity in product reviews. I look forward to expanding my reach and continuing to build a community of individuals who value honesty and authenticity in their pursuit of quality beard care products.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In all honesty, the best part of my community is being outdoors. I would take them hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, taking them on a ride through the side by side trails. Just simply be outside in nature and all it has to offer.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldn’t be where I am today in life if it wasn’t for the love of my life, my beautiful wife, Lisa. She’s my rock, my foundation for holding me up when I’m having belief in myself and my efforts. If it wasn’t for her, I honestly can’t predict where I’d be today.
