Meet Bridget Vanzandt | Digital Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Vanzandt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridget, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by the mostly small businesses I use to feature in my content on my social channels. I realize that by creating my content, I am making art, but they are the spark behind my ingenuity. To see someone start their own skincare or jewelry brand from the ground up is really inspiring.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It wasn’t easy to get where I am today. I’m disabled – I have a Parkinsonian disorder that makes my reels a little jumpy. However, my audience seems receptive and accepting of my disability. It’s been a proper exercise in gaining self-confidence, being in the public eye while visibly disabled. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Aside from the Lennox 24 Theater, which I visit frequently, my favorite part of Columbus is the Short North. With stores like Anthropologie and restaurants like Fyr and Mango’s, you can’t go wrong with planning an afternoon or evening there. It’s an up-and-coming area in Columbus and with good reason.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would only be a digital creator with help from my parents. They invested in me when I was just beginning, literally and through emotional support. My ring light was a gift from them. They’re truly supportive parents.
