Meet Camden Yacobucci | Musical Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Camden Yacobucci and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Camden, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I always wanted to help the world be a better place for this generation and for generations to come. I first thought that if I joined the military and die for my country then I would make an impact, but I realized this path would only make me another body the government used. Then I thought if I joined the S.W.A.T in a big city I could save many lives. This was my main focus until I found a love for music I never felt before while going to school in Brooklyn New York. I realized that music and words could help save millions of lives and impact so many generations just like what music did for me. The platform that I would have could allow me to use finances and exposure to truly make a large impact in this evil world we live in.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This journey as an artist has not been easy but I wouldn’t change a thing. I have failed so many times and learned so many lessons in my career and also in life. The longer I do this, the more I grow. I want to let you know about a new song that comes out Friday October 13th called “YOU’RE SO COOL”. This song is all about praising the failures and days that don’t go great. When life gets rough it’s so easy to give up and soak in your sorrows but when you stay positive, you grow more than you ever thought was possible. Keep that healthy mindset and you’ll be just fine.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I just recently moved from Los Angeles, CA to Columbus, OH. In my short time here I have had so many great experiences. I would probably take them to “Buckeye Donuts” for some breakfast before we head to an Ohio State football game. After the game we would go find some live music to listen to around downtown and grab some lunch at a food truck. After we explore downtown for a bit we could head back to my place and change. Then go get some sushi and drinks at the “Mandrake” rooftop before we go dance the night away on high street.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people in my life I could dedicate everything I have to but I wouldn’t have anything if it wasn’t for God. I am extremely blessed every single day that I wake up. I am surrounded by love and support from so many people and that is all because of Him and the path He has led me on. I am just so grateful for the man God has made me into.
