We had the good fortune of connecting with Cameron Lee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cameron, how do you think about risk?
My thoughts on Risk taking in my opinion are crucial to success (and failure for that matter).

You must be willing to take risk, place yourself in spaces and situations that you don’t normally, exploring new forms of expression or hobby, stepping out of your comfort zone or even taking a different route to your job or place that you frequent if you TRULY want to succeed at any level. Those who take more risk create more opportunity which equates to more chances for success. On the flip side sometimes it goes terribly wrong and when/if it does… you use that a lesson learned which becomes a stepping stone toward your success. Trust me I’ve “failed” many many times from taking risk of all magnitudes but I’ve turned those “failures” into life lesson that have made me a better man and business owner and creative!

The Greater the Risk the Bigger the Reward.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Real life Experience is what got me to where I am and where I continue to strive to be.

I learned a lot from school and appreciate the opportunity I had to graduate from college, but it’s nothing compared to what the opportunities to actually work in my respective industries and field early on have done for me. I am fortunate to have worked in some of the most high profile, high energy and professional setting all in my 20’s which I feel set me up to have a very successful future as long as I stay focused, passionate and persistent.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Haven’t been in Cincinnati for to long so I’m sure I haven’t experienced too much but I’d have to say I love a great brewery, so in that regard I’d say Esoteric Brewery, Humble Monk, Fretboard stand out. You can prolly catch me at a local dive bar too to be honest or at IRIS Read for some sensational Wine.

Give me some Tokyo kitty, Level One Bar + Arcade, any art museum and gallery outing, a dope bar or lounge ( Somerset – ghost baby – uncle Leo’s – Righteous Room) Bookstores and a dope tattoo/piercing spot!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The biggest shout out to my life and business partner JaCasta Rex as she’s been my right hand through this whole process the last 4 years. She’s never hesitated or second guessed the passion and emotion that I have and put towards all things that I strive to be great in.

My family would be the reason I am able to be as great as I can be, they always push me to work harder, to strive for more and never settle. My mother and Grandmother have been the pinnacle of what support truly means and I’m grateful. Success is what you make it, so make it outstanding.
