We had the good fortune of connecting with Chance Colon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chance, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Having the habit to instantly think “business” the moment I wake up has helped me stay organized and motivated to keep pushing my self further. This gives me the “go getter” approach on anything business and makes me proud to do work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create music to not only bring my emotions out but for others who feel similar to enjoy and share those same emotions. I also create to make people forget about the hard parts of life and even for one single moment give them relief. I get to where I am with endurance and strength, with a sprinkle of luck. KHR (my brand) is all about bringing the crazy side out of someone and giving them something to look forward to tomorrow, even though today may not have been memorable.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to my headquarters to see the studio, meet the people and see the vision. I would then take them to my favorite venues for any shows (Agora, No Class, The Odeon Concert Club). I would also take them to places to eat (various places). I’d finish with taking them to the history or art museum in downtown Cleveland.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my success to my supportive family, my business partner and also musical artist Mundz and everyone who supports my vision!
