We had the good fortune of connecting with Chavon Yoder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chavon, what do you attribute your success to?
I fell in love with permanent make up when I realized I could help women’s insecurities melt away by giving them back their eyebrows. That has been the driving force behind my brand. All of the services we have to offer were all added to our service menu with the hopes of helping women gain their confidence back!

What should our readers know about your business?
Starting my business was exciting and scary all at the same time! I knew I wanted to create a space that was centered around helping women’s insecurites melt away. We started in a one room studio specializing in permanent make up and have grown into having 5 closed door treatment rooms and a growing service menu. We are so much more than permanent make up now. We have a traditional tattoo artist, Leana, who has over 20 years experience and can do anything from small fine line pieces to full back pieces. Our estheticians offer Facials, Lash extensions, and waxing, We also offer body contouring cryo services, red light therapy and fibroblast services. Owning a business is not always easy but it’s worth it when I see women gaining their confidence back. I love what I do. I get to spend my days with some of the best people. Our staff and clients are so much fun!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We spend a lot of time at Berlin lake boating and jet skiing. We also love visiting our local parks with our two Labrador retrievers. Sunny lake park has so many great things to do! An afternoon at Top Golf is always fun. Shopping and Walking around Pinecrest and My favorite place to enjoy a nice dinner out is Delmonicos! They have the best espresso Martinis!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My success is not possible without the support of my family. My husband, Dave, didn’t hesitate to jump right in and help me build out my first studio. He and our kids, Taylor & Hunter encouraged and supported me by helping out at the business with the construction, set up and ideas on how to make it successful and have helped us move the business as we have grown! Their support has really helped me aspire to do more and be more! I also took my first training course and learned how to do permanent make up thanks to my sister, Amanda. She pushed me to try something new and I’m so happy I did!
