Meet Devin Dlugolinski | Fashion and Print Model – Supermodel

We had the good fortune of connecting with Devin Dlugolinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Devin, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is the comfort I hold in my personality and uniqueness. I define myself by who I am by living life everyday in my own vision combined with attempting to go off the course of a “normal” life and search for more fulfilling, exciting things in my journey. I believe this is the most important factor of not only my brand, but myself. living life in your own skin and finding your way without being held by any constraints is the most crucial thing you can do to achieve confidence followed by success.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My Career is something I build everyday, what’s sets me apart for others is my drive. I have an destine force within me that guides my confidence throughout my life. I know what I am doing is something simply bigger than me, I have started something I’ve wanted to do my entire life so in this moment I am in my full force energy towards my goals, which I believe sets me apart. I have also loved creating an aesthetic through a captured moment on film, always. When I became aware of my potential and where I wanted to go, my eyes became set on NYC. A city I’ve loved my entire life, I knew I needed to find some way into the fashion and art world but unfortunately at the time, I had no idea there happened to be a large Cleveland modeling community. After roughly 2 years of searching for opportunities here in Cleveland, I had found a designer post for a casting call at a public library near me. I could not believe my eyes because the location was in my city! I was there! The first model I ever met in Cleveland was Lauren Tee and we both made it through! From there I networked my way to where I am today with no intentions to slow down. It was not easy. However it was not damaging, but it was not easy. I am an optimist and paired with my drive for modeling I tend to avoid challenges but I do face challenges of course but those I keep more private, but as for challenges I’ve learned from in my career, producers and people above me has greatly impacted my knowledge on modeling by understanding if I feel uncomfortable in my outfit or a piece, a model does not have a say as to what we where. I want the world to know that my goal is to inspire people and children to live a life worth living that’s dedicated to you, your family, and the rare ones that are there for you. Life is more a mental game than a physical race.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Right off the bat, the free Cleveland Museum of Art is one of the best aspects of Cleveland. To eat, for Pizza Angelo’s in Lakewood. For sushi, Goma downtown or Omuzi in Parma. The BEST breakfast spot in the whole city which my family and i have been going to since my Mother was pregnant with my older sister is Gabe’s family restaurant in old Brooklyn. For the late night food Barrio in Tremont is where you’ll find me. To drink my favorite place in the city is LOST social club, the music is my type of atmosphere. Bright side for early drinks is always wonderful.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
