We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Estell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eddie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My passion has always been assisting people in their personal journey to find themselves. I wanted to create a safe space for people to hear themselves out loud and collaborate on a plan to create the habits that do just that.

What should our readers know about your business?
After 25 years in sales, 20 years as a sales manager, and 10 years as a sales trainer, I have always been passionate about helping people find and follow their inner voice. The plan was to always open the Mental Mechanics Institute, but only when I felt I was ready skill wise. It wasn’t easy, but after I made the decision to be a lifetime student of the craft of “ Coaching”, it definitely made it easier to focus. Every job I’ve had has been along the lines of sales and communication. So for my entire life, I have always been in practice of my business. I always told myself, I would be ready by the time I was 40, and here we are. It has taken a lot of patience and intuitive guidance on my part to remain ready until the right time came. The Mental Mechanics has many options to help our clientele. We have a Decompression Chamber to help our clients relieve stress and anxiety and a Mindset Mapping session to help them get refocused on task and goals. We have a Men’s Mindset Level-Up lecture to assist men with actionable resources to handle stress, get mentally organized, and set clearer goals and habits. And lastly, we have several 1:1 coaching packages to partner biweekly on achieving personal or business goals in a collaborative virtual space with myself or another coach. Our brand is built around our clients gaining control of their own mind and gaining the clarity and confidence necessary to take control of their life and pay it forward to someone they come across in the future that needs the same assistance. Life can be stressful, lonely, and draining at times. Our goal is to assist our clients in understanding that adaptability is the key, and we assist them with the tools they need to attain that in their own way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If someone came to San Antonio for a week, the first place I would take them is the River Walk. There is plenty of food and entertainment for us to choose from. Itineraries are boring, so I say let’s hit the River Walk and see where the day takes us. There is also plenty of Ranches to go horseback riding and trails for hiking.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shout out to Tamesha Edmonds for her unwavering support and creating space to assist me in understanding myself enough to cultivate The Mental Mechanics Institute.
