Meet Elle Hart | Self Intelligence Consultant and Co-working space Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Elle Hart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elle, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I am someone who likes working for myself but not by myself. Being a solopreneur has a lot of benefits but it can also feel like you are on an island trying to figure it all out on your own. Not only does Stanfield Manor Workspaces offer flexible private meeting rooms to conduct business in a professional setting and open co-working spaces to meet and work among other motivated people, it is a place to connect and collaborate. The beautiful, historic building that houses SMW lends itself to “Rooms to Grow Your Business Knowledge Network Self” which was the perfect place to call home to my Self Intelligence Consulting and Life Coaching practice, Feel Empowered Every Day and has grown to include permanent space for both mental health and massage therapists. You will find a variety of events taking place to feel supported and encouraged. Essentially, it is everything I have found to be beneficial in order to grow personally and/or professionally all under one roof.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The minute you walk into Stanfield Manor Workspaces, you feel at home. I put a lot of effort into creating a space that is welcoming and calming yet inspiring and motivating. The abundance of natural light paired with a variety of comfortable workspaces provides an environment for personal and professional development. Both of my businesses, Feel Empowered Every Day and Stanfield Manor Workspaces are unique and created out of my passion for growth. I felt stuck for so many years in my life and when I finally broke free, I committed myself to honor my desire to connect with others in order to help move them forward. Given I was a stay at home mom for 25 years and never had any prior business experience, I am where I am today by following my own natural process while being open to the ideas, suggestions and feedback from others. The biggest lesson I have learned is that we have far more gifts and talents than we give ourselves credit for and would love the world to know that it is never too late to try something new. You never know where it may lead you!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am still fairly new to the Troy area but I would take them to the town square where we would find all kinds of restaurants, shops and open space to relax and take in the fountain. I love how there are so many independently owned small businesses with such a wide variety of options to support. I would also be sure to take them for a stroll along the river path for a dose of nature.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Michele Cremeans with La Belle Époque and Holly Alexander with It is Well Counseling Services for joining me in my efforts to make Stanfield Manor Workspaces a place people look to for guidance and growth in whatever way they may need.
