Hi Emerson, how does your business help the community?
As for how my business helps the community or the world, G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT contributes positively in several ways. Through music, films, and other entertainment aspects, we have the power to inspire, uplift, educate, and bring joy to audiences. Additionally, our work can promote diversity and inclusion, which is essential in the entertainment sector. By engaging and working digitally with people from around the world on events, partnerships, and other programs, we aim to create a positive impact globally and foster a sense of togetherness through the power of entertainment and knowledge.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT and The Dollar Writers are unique entities that converge the worlds of entertainment, literature, and technology. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to creating content that not only entertains but also informs and empowers our audience.

Along the way, I’ve learned that innovation and adaptability are keys to success in a rapidly evolving industry. That’s why we’ve written books like “How-To Turn Music into Money: Building a Future-Proof Music Business.” I want the world to know that our brand is dedicated to inspiring individuals to reach their full potential and be able to sustain that for years to come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Absolutely, if my best friend were visiting the vibrant Los Angeles area for a week, I’d ensure they had an unforgettable time. We’d kick off the adventure with a night of laughter maybe at The Laugh Factory or Flappers, catching some stand-up comedy which constantly boasts celebrities.

For a taste of authentic comfort food, we’d head to Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, a local favorite. We could catch a game at SoFi Stadium or go to the Grammy Museum then go watch the Lakers play next door.

A relaxing day at some point Santa Monica Beach and a scenic drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu and the Palisades would be essential to soak in the breathtaking coastal views. Another of my favorite brunch spots is &Waffles and Jane Q, hidden gems. To experience some Hollywood glitz, a tour of Beverly Hills and its iconic Rodeo Drive is a must. And to cap it off, we’d explore the Griffith Observatory or the Getty for stunning city views. Hollywood and the surrounding areas is a treasure, and these are just a few of the highlights I’d share to make their visit unforgettable.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, there are several individuals and groups that deserve recognition for their contributions to my journey with The Dollar Writers and G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT. First and foremost, I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my incredible team at The Dollar Writers and the entire G-ED UP ENTERTAINMENT team for their hard work and dedication. It’s their collective effort that makes our projects come to life and reach audiences around the world.

Furthermore, I owe a debt of gratitude to my mentors and advisors in the entertainment and literary industries. Their guidance and support have been invaluable in shaping my career and vision. And, of course, our readers and viewers deserve a special mention – their engagement and support drive us to continue creating content that resonates and inspires.
