Meet Emma Masur | Brand Designer and Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Emma Masur and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emma, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Both of my parents are entrepreneurs and I have always been inspired by their success and drive to be their own boss and create the life they’ve always wanted for themselves. I’ve always wanted to create something that I am proud of that will leave a legacy behind me, and I think starting a business has accomplished just that. Becoming a business owner at 24 years old has been quite humbling, inspiring, and one of the greatest challenges I’ve faced thus far in my career. That said, I would not change it for the world. I am working on creating the exact life I’ve always wanted for myself and my future family, and for that I am quite proud.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a young age, I have always been captivated by the power of design to tell stories and evoke emotions. Growing up surrounded by diverse cultures and artistic influences, I quickly developed a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for translating ideas into visual masterpieces.
What sets The Lookout Co. apart is not just our technical skill, but our commitment to understanding the soul of every brand we touch. We believe in creating more than just visuals; we crafts identities that resonate. Our designs aren’t mere aesthetics; they are living, breathing entities that connect with people on a profound level.
For me and my company, it’s not about following trends but setting them. We find beauty in simplicity and elegance in complexity. Our work is a fusion of strategic thinking and artistic expression, creating designs that not only look good but also speak volumes about the brand’s essence.
In a world cluttered with visual noise, we stand out as a design studio who doesn’t just create logos and graphics—we craft experiences. My own journey from a wide-eyed design enthusiast to a seasoned brand designer is a testament to my unwavering commitment to the craft and my ability to turn visions into visual realities. Each stroke of my digital brush tells a story, and in every pixel, you’ll find the passion that propels me to new creative heights.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mom! My mom has been my biggest supporter throughout my business journey thus far. She started her own business, a staging company in Cincinnati, and has been my guiding light throughout the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Her success was what inspired me to start my own business in the first place, and I am so proud to be following in her footsteps.
