We had the good fortune of connecting with Ervin Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ervin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Me and yungFrost met through a mutual person and when I heard his music I knew then I was going to support him on my social media sites really I did not see this occurring I was just supportive but we build up a business here and me not knowing so I started looking at the bigger picture and I said hey me and frost became real close over the telephone and we only met twice in person so as time move on like 9 Year’s we put our energies together and created OHIOVsOHIO to help the community’s in the state of Ohio to bring their music to the world

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Okay what set us apart is from others is that we bringing the whole state of Ohio all the entertainers and artists together with putting out mixtapes helping others with their hobbies and for me to support others it was pretty easy I got the hang of hashtagging and the blueprint took about a year but I did it, and the views I even got a few fans inbox me at times, and what I’m really.proud about is that I am the President of public relations and co-owner of OhiovsOhio records I feel like my future is looking great, amongst the good feeling watch out for distractions from what you’re going to be hearing from the earth people its something about success so get ready for the ride! So I want you all to know about the brand is that we are here to stay we’re going to continue putting out OhiovsOhio music from the state we’re going to try different avenues of music like we’re going to adventure off in other music from Ohio and support their movement we have so much talent up north that we possibly could be the Motown of Ohio State we our and gonna be so stay tuned and follow me on Instagram at ohio_in_here or OHIOVsOHIO we love our state we up next to come in this entertainment world..

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I haven’t stayed in Cleveland Ohio in like 10 years but I would take a friend from outta town to The Rock and roll Hall of Fame and down town in the flats is a real nice and their are areas to hang out shoot some pool watch watch the game on TV see Cleveland down town is really the place to be, oh yeah Hot sauce Williams restaurant and Slymans corned beef restaurant check those places out also

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes I would like to say I started off supporting some guys from my old community they name is Santino Jones and Jay Jackson and kingbooGotti, I really was just showing my support for their company and it’s called WildLife Entertainment and I was supporting some guys from our community Hough 73Rd but these guys moved to Columbus Ohio when they were younger and their rap names is Double Edge and his brother Neal Down Da Great, they had a group with Yung frost called Something Greater and that’s how I got introduce to Yung Frost, and the rest is history, And I also wanna thank Bone thugs N harmony And Twista the rapper from Chicago thanks to all the rappers that sent me them pink and blue diamonds from Facebook letting me know that they are engaging with me they recognizing what we doing over here from Jadakiss sheek louch Master P Mia x birdman Lil Wayne juvenile Nick Cannon million dollars worth of game Shay Shay club Jason Lee rapper The game Scar lip raekwon from the WuTang clan fatjoe 2 Chainz and more wow they see us that was very exciting for me SMH oh yeah I’m very thankful for the love,I really been hustling my fingertips it feels good to see I’m helping Ohio artists entertainers with their hobby
