Hi Faith, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key to a boutique’s success often lies in creating a unique and memorable customer experience. We achieve this by being resilient, aligning with our vision and mission, and maintaining moral integrity.

In any business, setbacks are inevitable. When mistakes happen or outcomes fall short of expectations, it’s crucial to seek new solutions and keep trying. I live by the motto: keep going; if you fall, get back up. This aligns with the importance of taking risks—there’s always something greater on the other side, and you have to push through challenges to really achieve your goals. Nothing is far-fetch if you have continuous faith in your vision and are willing to put in the work.

Holding onto your purpose helps you stay focused on your mission. Our goal is to provide young ladies with a safe space for self-expression through beauty, fashion, and experiences. I’m driven by the desire to give others a sense of purpose, and being innovative and creative equips me with the tools to grow my business and continuously provide a space like Fetchville.

Fetchville is the space I wished I had in college, and I know many creatives and career-driven women are seeking a similar environment—a place to unwind and express themselves. Building and maintaining trusting relationships with our clients and customers is essential for retention and the overall success of our business. It’s important to listen to the needs of our target audience and respond accordingly. I pride myself on identifying issues when customers come in and providing effective solutions.

The tools I use to maintain growth are rooted in moral integrity. If you commit to something, it’s crucial to follow through. I focus on creating structures within the company that reflect our core values and promote intentional habits, including strong organizational skills, to better meet our customers’ needs.

At Fetchville, we offer a luxury experience, and to achieve this, we must establish a foundational standard. We emphasize setting high standards and positioning ourselves for opportunities, as outlined in our company handbook. This reinforces our culture and policies, ensuring we remain true to our mission. Ultimately, we aim to provide our community with the best experience in looking and feeling their best—all within the comfort of one location.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m Faith Pearl Autumn, a full-time entrepreneur, business owner, and content creator. Throughout the years, I’ve invested in my interests and gained valuable skills for my career. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2020, I opened a storefront. With determination and creativity, I explored various options, including event planning, photography, creative directing, creative designing, styling, and managing. In December of 2021, I transformed my photography studio into Fetchville, a clothing and hair boutique.

Fetchville is a chic boutique located in Mount Healthy, Cincinnati. Our mission is to provide a unique selection of clothing pieces, 100% human hair extensions, and an unforgettable experience. We’ve created a safe space where women are encouraged to be themselves and pursue their dreams unapologetically. At Fetchville, you can experience glamorous transformations, shop for stylish clothes and hair, and engage in meaningful conversations over wine and music.

After years of self-discovery, I embarked on a journey to live with purpose. I have a passion for shopping, traveling, conversing, and creating stylish looks and photo shoots. This passion has become the focus of my business, and I aspire to inspire others to do the same. I envision a thriving business that empowers women to be their best selves, managed and operated by loved ones, giving me the freedom to spread positivity through travel. Every day, my shop evolves to offer women an exceptional experience, and I am grateful for the beautiful alignment of my dreams.

Was it easy? Absolutely not. But it was undeniably worth it. The challenges I conquered were a result of thorough planning and unwavering decision-making. Being resolute in my choices and avoiding indecisiveness was crucial to avoiding missed opportunities and overwhelming situations. Additionally, I refused to give up on my vision, even in moments of doubt. As a business owner, I have experienced both highs and lows, and during tough times, it’s easy to feel directionless. My advice is to trust your instincts and go with what feels right to you.

Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that it’s essential to consistently show up for yourself because no one else will. Furthermore, I’ve realized that setting boundaries is imperative because no one else will defend or protect you. Failing to establish boundaries will only lead to disappointment. I want people to understand that even the smallest things can be mighty—a dream, a business, a person, and sometimes even a mindset. Nurture it to fit your vision and hold on to it. It might not turn out exactly as you anticipated; it could be even grander. Just take chances and have faith in yourself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I’ve seen so many changes over the years. As an influencer, I get to explore different places both locally and nationally. I’m planning to create an itinerary for my friend who’s visiting soon, focusing on the best spots during the summer—my favorite season! Since dining is one of the best things to do here, that will be our theme for the week stay.

You can enjoy an elegant girls’ night out or a chill evening of bar hopping with quick bites. Either way, Cincinnati has a lot to offer.

During the day, you can find day parties, relax by a pool, or explore the city and all it has to offer. There are always events occurring, and various platforms promote weekly activities. Cincinnati truly offers a wide variety of experiences.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shout-out to Oh Hey Girls! I met Misha Jackson, the founder, when I booked her to do my hair, and our conversation quickly evolved into something special. She introduced me to her organization, and after attending a back-to-school drive she curated, we began to build a meaningful relationship.

Working with Oh Hey Girls has been a beautiful, fun, exciting, heart-filled, and creative journey for me. I’ve helped organize events, contributed ideas, taken photos, and even hosted gatherings. Misha’s mission is to create spaces for bonding and open-mindedness among young women while providing mentorship through events such as holiday-themed photoshoots, sleepovers, charity events, outings, and much more.

Being a part of OHG has been an eye-opening experience because I’ve formed close connections with the girls in this organization. I see so much of myself in them—from our shared interests to the importance of being authentic. I’ve learned that mentorship and guidance are invaluable; we can all learn from each other and support one another. I’ve also come to realize that representation truly matters. Seeing someone accomplish goals close to you helps you trust yourself more. This organization provides the resources we need to reach our goals, allowing us to call on one another and ask questions for support.

Despite being one of the lesser-known nonprofit organizations, Oh Hey Girls brings together unique, ambitious women. Many of the girls are looking to discover themselves and find a supportive community, and this organization provides that pivotal space.

Misha’s efforts do not go unnoticed. She has helped me gain different perspectives and become less judgmental when understanding other people’s viewpoints and life experiences. We all come from diverse backgrounds, yet we come together to uplift one another, often realizing we are one and the same.

Mentorship has been a cornerstone of my experience here. The ambition of the girls inspires me, and it’s incredible to be in an environment where everyone roots for each other. I’ve grown to love each and every girl in this organization, and I’m excited to see what Misha has planned for the future. Altogether, we’re all thriving!
