We had the good fortune of connecting with Grace Moser and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Grace, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Over time I’ve started to see each part of my life as continuous. Everything is an act of creativity. So I carry myself with that energy regardless of what I’m doing. It allows more flow and overall balance.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I channel the underlying creative energy of nature through my art. This doesn’t set me apart. I believe this is what all art is. However, I channel it in a unique way because I experience it in a unique way. I am proud of the way I’ve learned to feel this natural flow of energy and follow it wherever it goes. It isn’t always continuous with my own agenda, but it always leads me somewhere greater. I have complete faith in nature.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to the water. At night would be ideal. We could look at the stars and the moon and run on the sand and feel the water. Nothing is more joyful. I would bring them to see my friends here, all the people that I grew up with. I would take them to my grandma’s house. She would tell stories about her life while we drank tea on the porch and laughed. We would get ice cream at the little shop down the street.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have the best friends in the world. So many people over the years have supported every part of my journey and I am so grateful. These people bring so much love into my life. What is creativity if not love? I am endlessly inspired by every one of them.
