Hi Hot Sizzle, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
It’s more of a mental affirmation for me, not to sound egotistic but gather your favorites, and let’s see what happens when the smoke clears. I feel as if I’m one of the best in the world, and sharpened enough to compete with the highest tier. To add on to that, being the best isn’t defined by any award given. Let’s be clear. My ethics and level of confidence is what reminds me to never half step.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m not an artist who’s afraid to create. I LIKE IT! That’s why I made it. {laughs} I’m my worst critic. I have music that’s out, finalized and finished, and I still critique that. Music is a place of/for creativity. It’s always gon’ be judged. Rather it’s judged to another artists work, if it was better than your last, or is this as good as it gets for you. So you have to push the element of surprise by trying new things and growing. There’s plenty of things to smile about nowadays. I’m proud that I’ve made it this, but more excited about what’s next. Was it easy getting here? Hell no. But I would’ve never been able to have these conversations with you today if I would’ve gave up a long time ago. I still recap moments and be like “damn, I remember when I used to…”. I hold on to those moments for dear life. That’s why I write it all down, so when life unfolds, I’ll be in a beach chair. Many lessons have been learned, I can go on and on about it. But to keep it plan and simple, work for your worth and make sure your business is right. As for what I want the world to know about me, I’m a competitor by nature and I mean I leave it all within the lines of music. But to back that up, you don’t know until you know me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s always events going on in the city that we can participate in. Some may depend on the time of the year. But we got The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Rocking Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Zoo, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Little Italy, Greater Cleveland Aquarium, House of Blues. It’s a lot of eatery downtown, the whole East 4th strip. So I mean it all depends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Firstly, let me thank god. Uhm…, then I wanna show some self appreciation to myself for consistency and dedication to what I fell in love with. I also wanna thank my surrounding circle. They know who they are {laughs} my circle ain’t that big, and just people who I speak with frequently. Those who support without even spending a penny, you’re appreciated. The core supporters! Those who would spent a dollar just cause my name attached to it, you’re more than appreciate, I see y’all.
