We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Irons and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
Being able to let go of projections from the world’s insecurities and realizing these thoughts were not my own. These thoughts didn’t actually exist and the only reason they had relevance in my life was because I chose to think they did. Realizing that true intent is both based on words and action to form a reality is what drives my team beyond the word limit and the true compassion to help shape shift the mind and break the cycles of perpetual thinking. A healthy mind is your strongest asset.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been a music artist at heart since I was 8 years old. While navigating my way in a community of sports recognition, academic excellence and even some of us skateboarding on the side listening to Taking Back Sunday lol I had an old tape recorder set that I started using to record my vocals with humble beginnings for sure lol. When I moved into my grandparents house, I was excited they had a microphone on their computer! It was like Christmas all year around haha. With my music I’ve learned to be comfortable telling my authentic story because it wasn’t about convincing anybody of anything. It was me expressing how beautiful life really was even through times that give the most pressure. To be able to listen to growth and know you meant every word you said really goes a legacy and generational way for others who seek the blueprint. I realize that having the platforms to speak publicly comes with an obligation to plant seeds and not poison the well. Again self love is self discipline so in order for me to practice and walk that journey, I had to talk to myself nice.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A lot of directions with this but I’ll start with the house lol First we have to grab an Airbnb in German Village Columbus, OH for the scene. It’s always been a simple and elegant energy that always inspired me to create. I feel like the daily walk in the mornings, a pistachio latte, great human interaction to get the day started pumps the blood! Each day we’ve gotta tackle different brunch areas in Columbus, starting with Katalina’s (If you know you know). I could really eat there all week but we can venture lol. I also love this brunch area in Fairborn, OH called Another Broken Egg Cafe and granted they have one in Columbus, but their service here at this location is absolutely Phenomenal. We’re definitely going down to Hocking Hills to the winery for a fine charcuterie board, sample some wine and listen to some live music. We’ve got to do an art gallery museum and interpret art because we’re surrounded by beautiful artists! Yellow springs has definitely gotta be a pit stop to walk the city, take a hike, have a picnic, and hit up some bodegas. Cincinnati has The Rhinegesit Brewery that has a rooftop that has an amazing view. I have to be a nerd and take you to my hometown Lima to grab the famous Kewpee Burger (Again… if you know you know lol). The Ohio Caverns and pick your options… Cedar Point? Oorrrrr Kings island???? Orrr BOTH? Haha. We could make this a month stay!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to before all else give the glory to God. For his patience throughout this walk with me to help guide me, especially through the storms. The community of humans in my life that would move mountains for their dreams and ride with you into the other realms of what it really means to manifest. My Choir Director Marilyn Roth- Basinger for shaping my courage to see music as something more than just a passion. I named my microphone after her lol. If you haven’t read the book The Artist Way, I highly recommend it! Take yourself on dates, and write those daily pages with fire!! Meditating is the best thing I could’ve done for my mental health and I couldn’t be more at ease and confident in my direction. Self love is self discipline.
