We had the good fortune of connecting with Jack Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jack, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Surround yourself only with people that take you higher. People with negative thoughts and perspectives are never the right people to surround yourself with. People who inspire you will result in inspirational thoughts and actions. To move forward with anything in life, a positive attitude is needed and the people around you will either contribute or diminish that ability.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started off as a 4th grade teacher and attended law school at night. I continue to maintain contact with many of my former students 50 years later. When I started to practice law, I believed that listening to my clients story was more important than telling them what I was going to do for them. Not only would I lister to their story, but I would have them repeat it twice before I started to ask any questions. The Cleveland Plain Dealer labeled me as the lawyer who took on the difficult cases. It wasn’t because I was smarter than other lawyers; it was because I listened and I cared about helping them in a difficult time in their lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As mayor of Lorain, I would want to visit all the great things we have in our community. I would take them out on a boat ride to our historic lighthouse. We would also visit Lakeview Park and enjoy the beach as well as the beautiful rose garden. We would then go across the street and play pickle ball at one of our pickle ball courts. On Friday night, we would go the Rockin on the River at our Port Authority and listen to some great classic rock from one of the tribute bands that play every Friday night. We would visit some of the food trucks and enjoy interacting with the 8-10,000 people attending each week. Of course, we would enjoy one of the best sunsets in the world along our Lake Erie shore and the stop at Speak of the Devil for a classic cocktail to end the evening.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife Deborah is a certified life coach. She was trained by Debbie Ford and I actually participated in Debbie’s Shadow Process Seminar in San Diego. My wife encourages me everyday and I never leave the house in the morning without her providing me with an inspiration message or saying to start off my day.
