We had the good fortune of connecting with Joanna Andres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joanna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

In the world of newborn photography, where capturing the fleeting moments of a baby’s first days is an art form, success hinges on more than just technical expertise and artistic vision. It’s about creating a nurturing and stress-free experience for clients, who may be navigating the uncharted waters of parenthood for the first time. As a newborn photographer who has established a thriving business, client experience is not just an afterthought; it’s the cornerstone of her success.

From the moment a client inquires about a session, I go above and beyond to create an inclusive and stress-free environment. I understand that welcoming a new baby is a whirlwind of emotions, and my goal is to alleviate any anxiety or uncertainty that parents may feel. I provide a comprehensive guide to preparing for the session, covering everything from feeding schedules to diaper changes.

During the session itself, I transform my studio into a haven of comfort and tranquility. Soft lighting, soothing music, and a carefully controlled temperature set the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I take the time to connect with each parent, understanding their unique needs and preferences.

My commitment to client experience extends to every detail of the session. I provide a wide selection of props, backdrops, outfits, and layers, ensuring that there’s something to suit every style and preference. This eliminates the need for parents to bring their own items, reducing stress and simplifying the process.

Beyond the physical environment, I cultivate a sense of ease and reassurance through my interactions with my clients. I am patient, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my clients feel comfortable and supported. My expertise, coupled with my genuine warmth and empathy, creates a trusting bond that allows parents to fully embrace the experience.

This approach has not only earned me a loyal clientele but has also propelled my newborn photography business to new heights. My commitment to client experience is a testament to my belief that success is not just about capturing beautiful images; it’s about creating a positive and lasting impact on the lives of my clients.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from other newborn photographers is my unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional client experience that goes beyond simply capturing beautiful images. I believe that every aspect of the newborn photography journey, from the initial inquiry to the final product delivery, should be seamless, stress-free, and tailored to the unique needs of each family.

Here are some specific ways I achieve this:

Personalized Consultations: I conduct in-depth phone consultations with each client to understand their vision for their session, preferences, and any concerns they may have. This allows me to tailor the session to their individual needs and ensure that we capture the essence of their family and their precious newborn.

Curated Props and Outfits: I provide a wide selection of meticulously chosen props, backdrops, outfits, and layers to ensure that we create the perfect ambiance for each session. This eliminates the need for parents to stress over finding the right items and allows them to focus on enjoying the experience.

Wall Art Design and Proofing: I guide clients through the process of selecting and designing wall art that complements their home décor and showcases their cherished memories. I provide mockups of the artwork on their walls, allowing them to visualize the final product before making a decision.

Custom Keepsake Albums: I offer professionally designed keepsake albums that capture the essence of each newborn session. These albums are a tangible way for families to cherish their precious memories for generations to come.

By prioritizing client experience and going the extra mile, I have established a reputation for providing a personalized and memorable newborn photography experience that exceeds expectations. I am incredibly proud of the positive impact I have on my clients, and I am excited to continue capturing the beauty of newborn life for many years to come.

Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their unwavering support and encouragement have been instrumental in my success, and I am forever grateful for their role in my life.
