Meet Justin Jean | Cinematographer & Director of Photography

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Jean and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I believe the key is knowing your why. Why did you start in the first place? What was your initial motivation? Knowing that and constantly reminding myself is what always allows me to stay grounded and focused.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I would say the thing I am most excited about is the future, and seeing what it holds for me creatively. I feel that I have grown so much as a creative and I am really excited to work on new projects and make new connections along the way.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out Kay Wilson, she is someone who has always believed in me from the very beginning. She was one of my first actual clients that helped me get a foot in the door with several non-profits around the community. So thank you for always believing in me, your faith has been contagious.
