We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelly Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Do you have a favorite quote or affirmation? What does it mean to you / what do you like about it?
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.”. ― Erma Bombeck.”

I love this quote because it encompasses the way that I look at life. We all need to use the talents that God has given us in everything we do. If we don’t, we leave so much undone. He has great plans for us; we just need to take action. I heard a quote the other day that actually struck me: “God is the helper, not the doer.”  We need to do the work…

What’s one thing about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Prior to November, I had no idea what an Neuro Sympathetic Reset (NSR) treatment was or the impact it could have on people. When I learned about it, I became instantly enthralled with learning as much as I could, because of the impact it has on those suffering with mental health issues. Once I learned about it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.  By the time my son got the treatment 30 days later, I knew I had to open a center to treat as many people as possible at the most affordable rate possible.

Alright, so let’s jump right in! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there a person, group, organization, book, etc that you want to dedicate your shoutout to? Who else deserves a little credit and recognition in your story?
Wow, there are so many impactful people in my life that have impacted me through books and podcasts. John Maxwell, who I now can call my friend, and Chad Willardson, my business coach and financial planner deserve all the credit in the world for how I have grown and changed over the years. But, I have to say that Chad gets the credit for my recent venture and inspiring me to do more. He told me that I needed to do something exciting and scary and take a risk that followed my heart. He said one day at lunch “When you talk about NSR, you light up – that tells me it is something you are passionate about.”

Please tell us more about your art. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am most excited about providing hope and healing to so many. I have had many friends and family that have suffered from mental health issues for years, trying everything and anything to get some relief. When I saw the impact this treatment had on my friend’s life that had been in a “frozen” state for so many years, it ignited a fire in me to bring this to light and allow others to receive the same emotional freedom she experienced.

Was it easy? NO! First off, I am not a doctor, so I couldn’t open a medical center, so the first thing I had to do was find a doctor willing to open a medical center with someone they had never met. Ha! The best part of the story is I was given a gift from God with my partner Dr. Joshua Goldner. He and I worked hours and hours to bring this center to life. Not only did we do it in less than 90 days, we did the first 45 days of planning all by Zoom! I was out of the country (planned way before I even knew about the treatment, let alone planning to open a center) so we had never even met in person. He saw my vision for hope and healing and being a pain management anesthesiologist, he saw the vision immediately and we were off and running. Of course, we had quite a few moments of “failing forward” in our first 90 days.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc. In your view what are some of the most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out?
I love taking walks in the Metroparks with people from out of the area. It is always such a nice way to talk, walk, and experience the beauty of the area. We would head to Don’s Pomeroy Pub, where the atmosphere is quaint and it reminds me of Cheers. Other than that, I would love to just sit in our backyard or around our table playing games, hanging out and enjoying each other.
