Meet Mallorie Dickman | Event and Wedding Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mallorie Dickman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mallorie, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from the local Cincinnati area and come from an Administrative Assistance background that offers a lot of experience in the wedding industry. From managing different events/meetings to customer service experience this role allowed me to gain the knowledge I need to assist my couples with the perfect day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner and lead planner for Moonlight Planning and Event/ Wedding Planning Company. At Moonlight Planning we strive to offer budget friendly prices for any couple that needs a Wedding BFF to help along the planning process as well as coordinating the wedding the day so they don’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying their day Starting a business is never easy it takes a lot of hard work Moonlight Planning is no different, launching a business around two small kids and managing a home life took a lot of work, dedication and finding a good work/life balance. The pay off to all of that hard work is definitely being able to help my couples bring their wedding day dreams to reality. Everyone deserves a perfect day and I am grateful I am able to help my couples find that at least for their wedding.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this is a hard one Cincinnati is such a great city for food and entertainment but I think i would want to show them the holes in the walls of my smaller town. I live in Milford so we would definitely be taking a day to spend it in Historical Milford, I love all things coffee and tea related and there is an amazing coffee shop called Forager Coffee + Tea that we would have to stop at before enjoying the local shopping in the area. I would also love to take them to Weiss Baking Company in Goshen Ohio for lunch! Outside of those two I am definitely a homebody and enjoy listing to music and reading with friends while hanging out and having a good time!
