Meet Michele Luck | Cognitive Coach, Reiki Master, and Sound Healing Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Luck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michele, how do you think about risk?
I feel I have a healthy balance of experiencing life in a zone of familiarity and safety while dipping my toes in the waters of the unknown and exploring the what-ifs. I like structure and organization, and like many others, I feel comfortable staying in my lane of education and expertise. However, I also listen to my gut-my intuition, and when I begin to feel too comfortable, or not stretched or challenged enough, I begin to get curious and that’s where my risk taking gains strength. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education and taught elementary students for a decade when I felt like there was more I needed to be doing- I wanted to touch more lives than just the 24 children in my class. I earned specialized certification and left the safety of the school district classroom and began instructing graduate courses part time at the local university while simultaneously, I created my own business of coaching educators and facilitating workshops. It was a risk to leave my full time job and work part-time for a university and create my own education consulting business. But that risk to let go of the familiar and jump both feet into the unknown without a guaranteed salary paid off! I learned the skills I needed to create my own business and begin the journey of entrepreneur. Since then, I have let go of the safety net of working for the university and continue to grow and expand my own business to serve others through coaching and beyond. I wholeheartedly believe that if you listen to your gut and follow your intuition, taking risks becomes less scary because you are being guided to grow and expand upon the foundation you’ve already built.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I moved to Cincinnati in 2017 and continued my cognitive coaching business virtually. I felt that I needed to reach more people, so I found an entrepreneurial women’s group to join and met several new friends, but most importantly Lindsey Bonadonna, who helped me realize that it was time for me to share more of my gifts through my business. Before I met Lindsey, in an effort to “fit in”, I had never publicly marketed myself as an intuitive empath. But to be honest, the reason I was such a successful coach was my intuition and ability to connect emotionally to my clients! I’ve always been a life long learner, and in the evenings I had been taking courses in astrology, tarot, Reiki, and even learned how to play the crystal bowls. Lindsey helped me realize that to truly grow my client list, I needed to follow my bliss and be authentically me in my business offerings. To be honest, it was terrifying for me to market myself in this way. I had always been in a professional setting where some of these things weren’t even spoken about. But, it was great advice, because when you show up exactly as you are, sharing your gifts, everything begins to run more smoothly. I added intuitive tarot readings, Reiki sessions, and crystal bowl sound healing to my coaching sessions, and my client list really began to grow.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite things to do is to ride my bike along the Little Miami Scenic Trail. It is a beautifully shaded trail along the Little Miami River. My beach cruiser bike has a basket so when I arrive in the historic town of Loveland, I can park my bike, eat at Paxton’s Grill, and shop the cute boutiques that line the streets! On my way back home, I can stop at the Monkey Bar and Grill for a drink on their outdoor patio on the river listening to live music.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Lindsey Bonadonna
