Meet Rainese Williams | Aka Ladybugg recording artist and entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rainese Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rainese, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Creating brings me happiness and healing. Also I believe it’s a gift from God. Many times I’ve thought about giving up. There’s times I’ve taken a break but at the end of the day walking away has never felt right with my spirit.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my charisma, my talent, my creativity and my energy. I love to deliver music that is creative. When I perform I like to think my set and performance out. I want to leave an impression on people. One of proudest rap career moments is when I won a competition to open up for Megan thee stallion and I was still a new artist at the time. I’ve been though hardships that’s created difficulty and doubt in the past but I think it’s apart of my story and it’s evidence on why I have to keep going. The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is to stay consistent and put out work that I am proud of. I can’t care about what others think. As long as I am proud of me, that’s the only opinion that matters. At the end of the day, it’s a matter of knowing. I know that I’m that girl and I have to own it and operate in it no matter what. Challenges will come but I’m committed to pushing through. I want the world to know that Ladybugg is free and is full or life. Ready to share my gifts with the world. I’m only allowing love and light into this chapter of my life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a night life girl. I would take her to Rumor, Saint Sadler Wine bar and there is a new good vibe in town, Parallel. We would probably attended a shake it with Shae or vibin with Cy dance class. I love to dance. Boozers has a good catfish that I like. Floods has great food and drinks so we’d definitely hit them up. Also I have great promoter friends D hill and SI currency so whatever events they are throwing I’d be on the look out for.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my close friends and family. My team who’s helped create Ladybugg’s image and people who believe in me so they stream and support my music. If you’ve ever danced for me, styled me, designed for me, did my makeup, did my hair, recorded me, produced for me, sent a beat or let me utilize your space. Special shoutout to Snap God who’s no longer with us physically but I cherish him and all the times he’s been my videographer for my music videos and performances.
