Meet ReAnna Stevenson | Wardrobe Stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with ReAnna Stevenson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ReAnna, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I was once scared to take risk . I tend to overthink, so in the past I would think about everything that could go wrong instead of what could go right. That was before I did take a risk and go after my dream.
That’s when I discovered that you have to take risk to see what could possibly happen.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve gotten where I am today by attending The Misa Hylton Fashion Academy as well as believing in myself and taking risk. It definitely wasn’t easy.
I live in Ohio where the fashion industry isn’t as heavy as it is in New York. So, I would travel back and forth to new York from Ohio to work different styling jobs.
In the fashion world the hours are longer than your normal 9-5 but so rewarding , being able to be apart of certain projects that will always be around..
I’ have learned that If it’s something you want out of life , you have to go out and get it and work hard.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes! I really don’t believe that anything I was able to accomplish in my styling career would be possible without my Mentor Misa Hylton and the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy.
Misa Hylton is a pioneer, a legion in the fashion community.. From styling some well known celebrities such as Mary J Blige, Lil Kim, Jodeci just to name a few to being the founder of her very on Fashion Academy. Ms. Hylton has touched many and is such an icon in my eyes and others .
Every since I attended I have been able to gain many connections as well as learning more about myself and being a fashion stylist.
