Meet Sabrina Plazo | Hairstylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Plazo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrina, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose to do an artistic/ creative career to be able to express myself and others. I knew I wasn’t able to do a paperwork or a “desk” job so something that was mindful and encouraging drew me to the hair Industry. Being able to make others feel beautiful is my passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a hairstylist I get to specialize in color, extensions, blonding, and more. I get to make relationships with my clients and watch them grow. Helping them express themselves in a positive way is so rewarding. I love making my clients feel comfortable and confident. I want to make my clients into friends. I’m so excited and proud of my growth in the industry so far. I got where I am today with the help of my leadership team, family, and friends. As I’m still growing I have learned to understand it takes time but it is so important to stay true to yourself! I’ve learned a lot about passionates and self awareness in the industry. I want everyone to know that just because so many people have the same passion doesn’t mean you can’t make it. Stay true to yourself and good things will happen!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend was in town for a week I would bring them to some of my favorite coffee shops like Bean Grind in Norton. We would also go on walks with my dog around the state parks! For something fun I would bring them to Big Shots in Coventry! I would have them try some of the local restaurants around my town.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My success is growing and I want to recognize my family and friends that have supported me so much. I also want to shoutout the Bellezza Avanti leadership team and all my co workers for pushing me to be the best version of me!
