We had the good fortune of connecting with Sahar Shalash and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sahar, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As a Palestinian born American women I am privileged America presents to us the ability to work for ourselves. I am appreciative of having the freedom to be able to follow our dreams in the United States of America. So being given that privilege and having the drive in real estate it was a no brainer that I develop my own brand. LRG realty is my dream and I want to share it with the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
LRG Realty is a real estate brokerage that has the best agents to deliver excellent real estate services. Our services include buying, selling, and investing for others.

What sets us apart as I started off as an agent so I know first hand what it takes to deliver outstanding real estate services to our clients. Our agents who work tirelessly to make their clients happy and satisfied is what we stand for.

Being an agent myself who has agents that represent me I know first hand what they need to do in order to provide excellent services. I myself started as an agent and having that background my agents trust in me to give them the knowledge it takes to provide the best services.

With everything in life when you first start there’s always road blocks. A challenge I overcame was with having personal set backs. I had to learn to separate business from personal really quickly or it would end up destroying me. It’s certainly hard to stay motivated when you have a death or a crisis come about but as entrepreneurs the liability is on us. So nobody is coming to save you and knowing that keeps you level headed and keeps you going.

For me personally sometimes I get on an airplane just to be closer to God you know looking at the sky it’s really beautiful . I feel that is the best form of therapy that works for me. Staying busy is key. I am always on the go.

I want the world to know that LRG realty is a brand that will always be genuine and represent excellence. We do not want just any deal we want our clients to consider us like family and know we will always fight for them until the end.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well let’s start in my hometown Columbus Ohio!

Columbus Ohio is a melting pot with some of the best restaurants and shopping there is!

Let’s go to Easton! Easton has been named one of the top 10 shopping centers in the nation! Than we’re going to the best dinner spot I believe to be in Columbus which is Jeff Rubys! We can end the night at bridge park a newer developed area in the heart of Dublin that has a nice rooftop overlooking the city and ambiance which would end the night hopefully leaving them with a fun time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout to the people that believed in me. The clients that didn’t judge me for not having one sale and allowed in in that door to sell their biggest investments. I want to shout out my mentor Heather Mershon who trained me and joined forces with me when I ventured off into my own. I want to thank my father who taught me that there is no limit to what we can do but the ones we set in our head. This is for my father. Praying he’s watching over me and I’m making him proud.
