Meet Shawn Leon | Image consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shawn Leon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shawn, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Barbers had an important role in history. Most barbers were the doctors of the community.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Mobile Barbershop My passion for helping others began when I started my career as a social worker for youth. But it wasn’t until I discovered the transformative power of haircuts that I truly found my calling. Seeing my clients’ faces light up with newfound confidence and self-esteem after just 45 minutes in my chair became a therapy session for us both. I’m a firm believer that looking good is the first step to feeling good. That’s why I bring my unique blend of creativity, skill, and therapeutic energy to every haircut I give. My goal isn’t just to give you a great haircut; it’s to help you tap into your inner confidence and leave feeling like the best version of yourself. So if you’re looking for more than just a haircut, come see me. With years of experience and a passion for helping others, I’ll help you unlock your full potential and leave feeling like a superstar. Let’s make you look and feel amazing!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ve been in Seattle Washington for 3years mainly east side Bellevue area. My favorite place it’s different from most places because it’s a suburb with a city like downtown area with clubs restaurants hotels lakes etc
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My uncle Jeff was a huge inspiration for my career path. He has been a barber for 30 plus years. I remember when he opened his first barber shop and stories of him cutting my dad’s hair for practice. He’s lifestyle as a business owner was something I watched closely and studied.
