Meet Stephanie Hicks | Boudoir Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Hicks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie, why did you pursue a creative career?
Photography has been my passion ever since I could remember. A spark fires inside of me every time I get behind the camera. Being able to help uplift other women and show them how beautiful they truly are has been one of the best experiences I have had.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I take the time to truly get to know my clients on a personal level, to make them as comfortable as possible. We have sat and laughed, even cried together at times. On the day of your photoshoot I bring little snacks and drinks for you to snack on during your shoot. I keep it very upbeat and lifting the entire time. My goal at the end of your shoot is for you to leave feeling like the beautiful queen that you are! Uplifting women is so important to me! Us women can be so hard on ourselves and it sometimes takes someone else to show you just how beautiful you truly are. Confidence is an amazing feeling and once you achieve that nothing can stop you from achieving your goals in life

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend were to come visit I would take them to all that national parks we could fit in. Cuyahoga valley is one of my favorite parks to walk through and relax and take in all the beautiful things nature has to offer. For a fun day out I would definitely take them up to cedar point and ride all the roller coasters.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughters help push me to thrive to be better and do better at my career. I also have a huge support system from my amazing friends and family who continue to push me and support me in every way they can.
