Meet Stephen Miller | Private Chef & Caterer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephen, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
As I’ve gotten older and experienced more, I’ve personally realized that Success is relative to one’s own perspective of happiness. Society deems that success is only through monetary value and while I agree to the point that being financially stable is critical, the pathway to achieving that is not necessarily the ideal road for everyone.
Many are content with living a simpler lifestyle, being family oriented, or loving their hobbies. It’s all about what makes you happy as an individual when it’s all said and done. I believe peace of mind and love amongst family and friends is a defining characteristic of success.
Money does not take away all your problems but only alleviates certain issues that being poor brings but it itself brings its own challenges. Being inspiring to others & spending time with the people you value most is just as important
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Culinary is set in one of the most intimate forms. We digest foods & liquids every day. It is an imperative activity for human life. I’ve worked under several chefs since 2016 which has exposed & allowed me to articulate my own style of cooking in a robust and flavor forward expression.
Different cuisines have opened up doors of more Versatility and creativity as each culture has their own contribution to food. Now my mission is to keep expanding upon that amongst myself and clients in order to provide the best and most unique dining experience possible
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If this were the case, must try spots to eat are priority. Katalinas, First Watch & Skillet for breakfast.
Barrolucco, Bamboo Kitchen, and AAB Indian Kitchen for Lunch.
Kitchen Social, Lindeys, and Barcelona for Dinner
Activities
Otherworld, Pins mechanical, Ohio state or blue jackets game depending on time of year, Columbus Zoo, Xo nightclub would be great things to do
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I don’t believe that you can achieve everything all on your own in life. You need others no matter how big or small their role is on your journey. I would like to shout out my brothers, Jalen, Jarrod, James, Devonte, Isaiah, & Michal for supporting me and believing in my craft. None of them are obligated to do so which creates a special gratitude in my heart
My mother is next as she has always been there for me since day one. I would not be the man I am today without her. Her resilience in life has always inspired me to keep going no matter what
My gorgeous and supportive Girlfriend Jasmine is a Ray of light and peace in my life supporting me where she can in my business and helping me become a better Man for my self and her. She is a true asset in my story
