Hi Taylor, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most impactful lesson my business has taught me is the profound importance of truly believing in the creative services I offer, which encompass photography, business branding, design, websites, coaching, and more. I’ve discovered that when I am genuinely passionate and confident about the value I bring to the table, it resonates not only within my own work but also extends to my clients. Believing wholeheartedly in my services creates a ripple effect. When I approach projects with genuine enthusiasm and belief, my clients are more likely to absorb that positive energy. This, in turn, empowers them to believe in the products or services they provide to their end users. It’s a powerful chain reaction where the authenticity of belief translates into the quality and impact of the final output. This lesson has not only elevated the caliber of my work but has also established a deeper connection with clients, fostering a sense of trust and collaboration. In the world of creative services, the belief in what we provide becomes a catalyst for inspiring others to believe in their own offerings, creating a positive and fulfilling ecosystem.

Rooted in a profound passion for creativity and innovation, my art spans diverse mediums, embodying a unique approach to each project. What sets me apart is not merely the range of services I offer but the distinctive commitment to authenticity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the unique stories and aspirations of my clients.

The journey to where I am today professionally has been both challenging and rewarding. It was far from easy, and overcoming obstacles required resilience, adaptability, and a continuous thirst for learning. As I navigated this path, I discovered the power of learning to say ‘no’ strategically. Understanding my priorities and being selective about the projects I took on not only preserved my creative energy but also allowed me to focus on endeavors that aligned with my vision.

Equally significant was the realization that hearing ‘no’ from others could be transformative. Instead of viewing it as a setback, I learned to see it as a learning and teaching moment. Accepting ‘no’ became an opportunity to reassess, pivot, and explore circumstances that ultimately led to the ‘yeses’ I needed more. This adaptive mindset not only strengthened my problem-solving skills but also fostered a more resilient and forward-thinking approach to my professional journey.

The challenges I faced became pivotal opportunities for growth, pushing me to refine my skills, expand my knowledge, and embrace change. Each ‘no’ became a stepping stone toward the ‘yeses’ that propelled me forward. This lesson in strategic decision-making and resilience has been instrumental in shaping both my professional evolution and the unique approach I bring to my creative services.

One crucial lesson I’ve learned along the way is the importance of staying true to my artistic vision while remaining adaptable to industry trends and client needs. Building a successful brand required not only honing my craft but also developing strong interpersonal skills to understand and meet the diverse expectations of my clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Answering questions about showing someone the best time in a week can be quite the challenge for a homebody like myself! Nevertheless, if my best friend were visiting, I’d aim for the perfect blend of coziness and exploration, aligning with the preferences of someone who appreciates the comfort of familiar places and the excitement of new discoveries. For lunch, Shango’s Urban Taqueria in Norwood, a client-inspired staple, offers a great menu. In the evenings, Nostalgia Downtown becomes the perfect spot to unwind, enveloped in good music. For coffee, the artistic ambiance of Black Coffee downtown adds a touch of creativity to mornings. Self-care essentials and body butter from DeeDee’s Butter Bar in North College Hill provide a soothing touch, while Essential Oasis in Blue Ash offers massage options for ultimate relaxation. I love Asian cuisine, and Top Pot Korean BBQ in Sharonville makes for an excellent choice. There are also great concerts, festivals, and plays that happen in the city, so depending on what’s going on that week, that could be a good option as well. The blend of hometown staples and client-inspired gems would create a perfect mix of warmth, familiarity, and the thrill of new experiences for a week-long adventure.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In reflecting on my journey, there’s a multitude of individuals and influences that have played pivotal roles in shaping my success. While the list is extensive and diverse, each person has left a mark on my professional and personal growth. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to God for His unwavering guidance, positioning, and carrying me through places I could never navigate on my own. To my family members, friends, mentors, and supporters who have contributed in various ways, you know who you are! Your collective efforts, support, mentorship, love, and encouragement have been the driving force behind my achievements. It’s the late-night brainstorming sessions, the uplifting words during challenging times, and the shared moments of celebration that have fueled my determination and resilience.
