We had the good fortune of connecting with Temperrence Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Temperrence, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve worked in the retail management field for 26 years , and honestly I thought that was something that I loved to do ! June 29tg 2020 was one of the worst days of my life . Two of my daughters lost their father and I knew that our road was going to be extremely tough . And a few months had passed and I just jumped up and said , I need to do something that will allow me to be there for my children without having to answer to anyone . So I got online with the help of my friend and created my LLC .

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Myesha’s Delight’s was started November of 2020, I never thought I’d ever want to start my own business due to not knowing everything that actually goes into this , it’s most definitely been a rough ride as far as not getting too many clients and there are a lot of people in Cleveland that actually does the same thing. But honestly what separates me from others is the actual time that I put in , I don’t have a whole team behind me it’s just me , I love doing treat tables and cheesecake jars which actually are my best sellers! I mean who doesn’t love great cheesecake. When I look back to when I actually first started making my chocolate covered treats I most definitely see a huge difference in my work then and now. With the help of social media I’m gaining more views and orders which was one of the things that use to have me discouraged. But you know it’s all about you having faith in yourself to keep pushing . I also started Myesha’s Delight’s so that my children would never have to work for anyone but themselves..

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be quite honest I’m a home body , and I spend my time with my children and figuring out new ways and ideas for my business . Also doing a lot of family outings , now if she came with her children Whewwwww! We’d go to the movies , my youngest loves Chuck E. Cheese and heck so do I . But one good restaurant that I have frequented is the bourbon street barrel on professor , that’s located in Fremont on the west side of Cleveland.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, this is dedicated to my children of course for always being my taste testers, My husband Donald for the support and suggestions, My grandmother in which my business is named after (rest peacefully) and last but not least my girls father (Terance ) for our conversations and always being there .
