We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Gingrich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
To me, risk-taking is an essential part of any personal growth and also being an entrepreneur, particularly in fields like personal development where you help others push beyond their comfort zones. Actually, my entire career is built on the idea of embracing risks for the sake of transformation, which is at the heart of the coaching I do, as well as the workshops and retreats I facilitate.

I chose to make a bold decision to pivot and change careers after almost 20 years in the hairdressing industry. This leap into the unknown also involved investing in my education—earning a bachelor’s degree, completing certifications, and eventually starting my own business, all of which were significant financial risks. I also had to let go of the long-term identity and stability I had built to step into something new. Some doubted my path because it wasn’t conventional, but I knew it was what I needed to grow.

There was also a huge risk in putting myself out there to be visible on social media and share my message. It was scary to be seen, to risk the ridicule and gossip that can come with visibility. Being vulnerable meant sharing personal aspects of my journey. This was an emotional risk, but it ultimately led to authentic connections, built trust, and allowed me to make a real impact. It grew me as a person, and I’m grateful I stayed the course.

Creating and hosting “Elevate Your Life” workshops was another major risk. I wasn’t sure if people would attend or if I could create an experience that would truly resonate. Taking that leap to bring people together for transformation has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. And there’s always a financial risk involved when booking venues, promoting events, and dedicating time to build something from scratch. Yet, the reward has been incredible growth, community, and connection.

Growth is just risky. There’s no way around it. It always involves stepping into the unknown. I encourage my clients to take those risks – whether it’s finding a more fulfilling job or breaking free from a self-sabotaging habit. Real transformation only happens when we embrace risk, and without it, there’s no true change or evolution for any of us.

What should our readers know about your business?
I guess what sets me apart is how deeply I care about my clients and their personal journeys. I’m most proud of their successes – the breakthroughs, the joy, and the positive changes they experience. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone step into their full potential. I’m also incredibly excited about the community that’s growing with Elevate Your Life. It’s evolved into something truly beautiful, where people come together to support, grow, and elevate each other.

Getting to where I am today in my business wasn’t easy. It did take a lot of grit and perseverance. I followed my heart, even when my path seemed uncertain or confusing to others. There were many nights of working late and sacrificing social time, which can feel lonely as an entrepreneur, but I always knew this was my calling and important for me to do.

The most important lesson I’ve learned is that if you have a dream in your heart, you can create it. It might take dedication, effort, and a lot of belief in yourself, but it’s possible. That’s what I want the world to know about my work and Elevate Your Life – it’s all about giving people the space and tools to create the lives they truly want. It’s been a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting, I’d take them on a tour of all the best spots in Cincinnati. We’d start at Findlay Market, exploring its local merchants, creatives, musicians, and fresh produce, before heading to Union Terminal to visit the History Museum and the Museum of Natural History & Science, and maybe catch a show at the Omnimax Theater while we are there. A walk through Eden Park and then to the Cincinnati Art Museum is a must, especially to check out the Egyptian exhibit. We could stop at the Somerset Bar (it’s beautiful with it’s treehouse vibe and cozy greenery) or the Blind Lemon in Mt. Adams afterward for some live, chill music.
We’d hike the trails at California Woods Nature Preserve and visit Over-the-Rhine (OTR) for its historic architecture and vibrant art scene (we are known for our murals). We could also take a little trip to Serpent Mound for a glimpse into ancient history. And maybe a stroll through Spring Grove Cemetery, admiring its peaceful beauty.
For food, we’d stop by my favorite little spot, Taqueria Mercado, for fresh Mexican one night, and then treat ourselves to dinner at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse or Boca another night. We’d probably have to also grab some delicious snacks and smoothies from Rooted Juicery.
To unwind, we’d hit Modo Yoga for a hot yoga class and maybe take a walk through Ault Park to see the views and wildlife. We could round off the trip with a tour of the little towns of Mariemont, Northside, and Clifton, then finish with a sunset walk along The Banks to soak in the riverfront views.
It would be the perfect mix of history, nature, art, and great food!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a huge shoutout to my coach, Elisabeth Galperin from Peak Productivity. Elisabeth has been an incredible source of support and encouragement throughout my journey. From building my own coaching business to expanding Elevate Your Life, she has always believed in me, guided me, and helped me navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship. Her wisdom is something I can always rely on, and she continually inspires me not only to be a better coach but also a better person. I’m deeply grateful for her unwavering support over the years.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the support of my community – without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their encouragement, listening, and belief in me have been invaluable as I’ve grown personally and professionally. And a special thank you to all those who’ve referred others to me…your trust has been a key part of my success.
