Meet Tina Benbow | Cosmetic Chemist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tina Benbow and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to help people soothe, care for and celebrate their skin!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned is to always believe in your artistry and creativity and to stay true to it. To keep going no matter how hard it is to see success. It has 𝙣𝙤𝙩 been easy at all but you must press on and continue.
Ive been able to overcome certain challenges and obstacles simply by continuing and trusting the process. Understanding that it’s a journey and while I may have a timetable in my mind as to when my brand and art should be discovered and appreciated.-my timetable on success is not to be measured. That is what I’m most proud of!
I’d like the world to know that I am sincerely dedicated to my brand and the products that I handcraft. Dedicated to providing safe, quality products made with superior vegan, non toxic ingredients.
I want the world to know that I put a tremendous amount of love, time, patience, thought and energy into every piece I create. Not to mention my products have 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡 benefits! Ask our “Devoted Kissers.”
That coupled with the fact that everything is made one at a time under strict sanitation guidelines and standards make my brand the better choice and it’s also what sets me apart from my competitors!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely have to take them to some of our local vending events or street festivals with food vendors to get a nice taste of the city!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out all the people in my tribe. The ones that genuinely support me. The ones who show up when no one else does. The ones who believed in me and took a chance on me and my brand. To the ones who help me grow and see success.
They all know who they are… but.. to mention a few, my Son Jordan, Photographer/Brother Israel, my Bestie, Ahesa, My Sisters: Vicky, Barb, Carmen, Tasha & Tashatha! There are so many more that uplift, inspire and encourage me and I’m so grateful for you all!
