Hi Toi, how do you think about risk?
Risk play a huge role in decision making, when you aren’t taking a risk you will know or expect the outcome. Though when you choose to take a risk you don’t know the outcome(s) only the what-ifs. Due to me taking risk, I became a Fashion Designer & entrepreneur which I am thankful for the risk each day. In some ways it is true, “no risk, no reward” but when taking risk sometimes you have to work harder to see what the risk was worth.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
So Toi is a Online Dress Store with many dress styles to choose from, Our dresses are made with high-quality materials and handmade with attention to detail. From our Online Dress Store there’s a dress style for every occasion!! We also offer Design Services such as Custom Design, Prom & Bridal where a client can work with us (Toi) to design their dream dress. Our services is offered to clients everywhere no matter the City/State or Country!! I think the way our business presents itself sets us apart from others, we show a lot of the behind the scenes/seams on our Instagram and that has created such positive outcomes within itself.

I am always so proud of myself and how I challenge myself to do better each day. I got to where I am today by believing in myself and choosing me. In life I’ve realized things are easier said then done because it’s harder to do the work to get to where you want to be. I am where I am today, because I’ve stayed consistent & I didn’t let the times where I didn’t feel creative defeat me. Running a business alone is not easy and it is an everyday challenge. You are constantly reminding yourself to focus on the things you have accomplished on your “to-do list” vs. the things you haven’t accomplished yet. From that and business I’ve learned to be more patient with myself and to give myself grace at all moments.

I want the world to know So Toi… that’s number one. I want everyone to know that So Toi was a dream of mine that I made into my reality from hard work, perseverance, consistency, and patience. Each day I work towards my goals with So Toi and I mean every single day. During the last few months I’ve come to realize…. If I want to attain what I see as success I’m going to have to work overtime and that’s ok because right now I am doing the groundwork. Lastly, I want the world to know when anyone support So Toi in any way they are supporting my dream and I appreciate it with all my heart.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my best friend visits we go to Pinecrest since it is so many restaurants, stores, spas and activity based shops there. I think people should check out Pinecrest, The Flats and Crocker Park there’s always good selections there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate my shoutout to MY MOM, she has provided me with endless love, support, and encouragement!! She has always believed in me and pushed me to chase my dreams. She has shown me that you can make your dreams your reality in real life and I’m just very fortunate to have her. My mom will also be starting her own business as well very soon, so I can’t wait to discuss and promote that as well.
